Perth County Federation donates locally raised beef amidst pandemic

Perth County Federation demonstrated compassion and kindness for their community today by donating 209.9 pounds of locally raised ground beef to the Stratford House of Blessing. Attached to each pound of ground beef was OFA’s food literacy initiative, Six by Sixteen’s Sweet Potato Shepherd’s Pie recipe card which included a pre-mixed spice packet from Troyer’s Spices. Pictured is Sara Wood, Vice-President of PCFA dropping off the donation on behalf of the county.

Earlier in 2020, PCFA also donated $1,000 to the Huron County Food Bank Distribution Centre which distributes food to the food banks within Huron and Perth Counties.
